Mission Statement: " Connect all People Through Christ "
United Teens Encounter Christ (UTEC) is a nondenominational, evangelical, conservative youth ministry that yearly holds four, three-day retreats in local churches across the metropolitan area. Since the first UTEC weekend more than 21 years ago, about 4,000 students from over 100 churches and high schools have experienced a UTEC weekend.
Through UTEC, teenagers have the opportunity to experience a guided three day weekend, run primarily by teens like themselves. During the weekend, teens have the opportunity to grow closer to Christ, all while a family known as the “TEC Community” surrounds them with prayers, scripture, discipleship, and God’s Agape Love.
